Please keep in mind, however, that I travel throughout the year, researching and writing articles for this website, and receive dozens of messages a day. Replying to everybody could easily be a full-time job!

Here’s a few things to note:

• I maintain an enormous FAQ page and update it regularly, based on popular reader questions. I may have already answered your question there.

• Here’s a list of every country I’ve visited. Please take the time to read the articles I’ve written about the destination you’ll be travelling to. I share in-depth travel guides, itineraries, packing lists, budget breakdowns, and travel advice for everywhere I’ve been.
• If your question could help other travellers, consider asking it in the comments of a relevant article — I read and reply to those most mornings.
• To follow my travels in realtime, you can subscribe to my monthly Substack newsletter, where I share my latest work, what I’ve been up to, and my best travel tips and tricks.
