This is something I’ve wanted to offer for a long time.
Quite simply, I love what I do. I whole-heartedly believe I have the best job in the world, making a passive income while I explore the planet, and with so much freedom that it still blows my mind. I’ve gained so much from running a travel blog.
Through Never Ending Footsteps, I’ve funded ten years of travel and gained a book deal for my memoir, along with a big New York City agent. I’ve been featured in large publications, like the Wall Street Journal, the Independent, Forbes, and the BBC. I’ve been interviewed on the radio in front of an audience of several million listeners, and I make six figures each year in entirely passive income, meaning the money comes in whether I’m working or not.
And yet, before starting Never Ending Footsteps, I had zero writing experience, had no idea how to run a website, didn’t really know what a blog was, and had never heard of WordPress. I didn’t even own a camera.
Now, my life is pretty damn fantastic. I make five figures a month in passive income and regularly take time off from work to unwind. Last year, I took three months off from running this blog to travel through India, Australia, and New Zealand, and it had zero effect on my income.
A life and a business like mine is possible, even if you have no idea what you’re doing. It can all be learnt and I believe that anybody can be successful if they have access to the right information.
I have that information.
And now, I want to start proving this all to be true. I want to start coaching a select few travel bloggers long-term to help them build a loyal audience, find financial independence, and travel the world on their terms.
Why You Should Sign-Up
I’ve been in the travel blogging industry for the better part of a decade and thanks to a ton of experimentation, I know what works and what doesn’t. I know how to make a blog succeed. Here’s why you should entrust your travel blog to me:
I know how to increase your income.
Back in 2016, I decided I’d had enough of breaking even. For five years, I had been making $2,000 a month with this blog — just enough to cover my travel expenses — and been thrilled about it. But I decided it was time to level up.
Six months later, I had tripled my income to $6,000 a month. It continued to grow from there and I’d doubled it again a year later.
Don’t waste your time on techniques that’ll grow your income by a few dollars a month — I’ll show you what gets results and which methods have earned me serious money.
I’m an expert in income diversification.
I’ve tried everything. I’ve landed a traditional book deal and I’ve self-published my book on Amazon. I’ve launched a course that has been taken by hundreds of people. I run a Patreon with 130+ supporters. I’ve worked with major tourism boards around the world. I’ve published sponsored posts. I’ve been a freelance writer for a dozen websites, and a freelance editor for a travel magazine.
I know how to diversify your income streams and build a business that makes money. If you’re dazed and confused when thinking about the next steps for your travel blog, I’ll help you decide on the most lucrative option.
SEO is my jam.
If there’s a term I want to rank for on Google, I’ll find myself on the first page within a matter of months. Don’t just take my word for it — I’ve ranked first for the term start a travel blog for years — the most competitive keyword in travel blogging.
I’ll share all of my SEO secrets with you. I’ll show you how to perform keyword research, share the best link building techniques, and help you optimise your blog posts for conversions.
I’m the queen of passive income.
With the exception of my Patreon — which is a passion project for me — all of my income sources are passive and that means the money rolls in whether I’m working or not. I believe this is the absolute best way to run a travel blog.
Forget about press trips and sponsored stays and working with brands on Instagram — imagine if you could just afford to go wherever you wanted and write about whatever you’re passionate about? That’s what I’ll teach you to do. I believe it’s important to build a business that doesn’t rely on anybody but yourself.
I found blogging success before starting this coaching program.
There’s a handful of travel bloggers out there who make their money from convincing other people they’re successful. They sell their courses on making money online based on fake numbers and accomplishments, make their money from those course sales, and then they sell more courses based on the income they make from selling those courses…
I’m launching this service only after I’ve spent a decade in the world of travel blogging, making my money through legitimate means. From achievable means. Replicable means. When I say I make five figures a month it excludes any income I pull in from this coaching — I just wanted to make that clear.
I’ve made allllll the mistakes.
So many mistakes.
I’ve taken freelancing jobs that paid far too little. I’ve spent months on posts that failed. I’ve suffered through Google algorithm updates that have wiped out my traffic. And I’ve wasted years on SEO techniques that ended up hurting my blog. I’ve always bounced back.
I’ll steer you away from making the same mistakes and ensure you’re on the right track to building a business that won’t fall apart at the seams.
What’s Included in The Coaching
I’ll teach you everything you need to know to succeed.
After you fill in the form below, we’ll have a discussion about what your aims are in order to ensure I’m the best person to help. Then, we’ll have a chat about how I can do exactly that.
If you already have a travel blog, we’ll go through your intended blogging audience, your current branding, how you’re currently driving traffic to your blog, and how much you’re making from it. We’ll discuss what you’re doing right and what you need to improve on. I’ll then perform a huge site audit in order to provide you with a complete and individualised blueprint of how to get from your current position to where I am.
And when I say huge, I mean huge. I’ll be analysing every aspect of your travel blog; reading every single one of your posts. We’ll discuss how you can target better keywords, go over what each blog post needs in order to convert, and find the right products for you to promote. We’ll identify your most valuable content and brainstorm how you can drive traffic to it and build high-quality links — the right way. I’ll run your site through the many SEO tools I use, saving you hundreds of dollars a month, and come up with a personalised list of keywords to focus on. I’ll even copyedit your posts to help you better connect with your readers, if that’s something you require. Don’t be surprised if my feedback is several thousand words long for each individual page on your site. I like to go deep with this.
I’ll be treating your site as though it’s my second blog, and I’ll be just as invested in its success.
This isn’t a course and there’s no course material, because I believe the way to succeed is through personalised one-on-one discussions. I won’t be providing generic advice on how to build your blog into a success — instead, I’ll be working individually with you, optimising and making improvements that are specific to your site.
What if you haven’t yet started your blog? In that case, I’ll help you figure out the perfect name for your site, recommend some of the best themes, show you how to create a brand that resonates with people, and make sure you start your blog the right way, with the right content and the most engaging pages. Your site will be optimised for making money from your very first day. If you struggle with the tech side of things, I’ll set up your theme for you and get it looking the way you want, configure your plugins, and make sure your site is running as quickly as possible.
Throughout the time we work together, each month will have a focus. It could be how you can increase your passive income. It might be the steps you need to take to build a product to release to your audience. It might be optimising your affiliate conversions. It could be how to hone in on your voice in order to better connect with your audience. It may even be pitching your travel memoir to an agent! Throughout that month, I’ll be putting my all into teaching you everything I know about our chosen topic while answering any questions you have. I typically spend somewhere around 20 hours a month on analysis of your site, and put together 10,000+ words of personalised feedback, edits, and advice.
The next month, we’ll do it all over again until you’ve reached your goals and you no longer need my help.
How much Does it Cost?
I charge $1,000 a month for blog coaching.
“I’ve only just begun this coaching with Lauren and am too blown away to properly articulate. This may come across as too good to be true, and it does seem that way, but I promise you it’s not. I’ve been all over the web, through different books, and various resources on cultivating a travel blog, but with Lauren, I’m in awe at just how invaluable she has been. You truly do get far more than your money’s worth with this opportunity.
Lauren is the kindest, loveliest person to be your coach. Her experience, guidance, and insight is phenomenal! I’m a bit unconventional in both my blog’s niche and in personality and she has been an absolute gem despite that. And I’m not trying to suck up; I’m not being incentivized. I actually asked her if I could leave a review for her to share because working with her in this coaching program has been incredible. You’re not going to find this sort of expertise and genuine sincerity anywhere else but this coaching with Lauren. So please, infinitely please, jump on this! I can’t recommend this enough!” — Alexis Dees
“Lauren is an amazing coach! Just in our first month together, I have learned so many things. I love that her process with each of her students is tailored to the stage they are at with their blog. If you ask her anything, she will respond in great detail. She will look over your articles and give thorough comments that not only help make it better but will also give you ideas as to how it will truly benefit your readers. Lauren really will treat your blog as if it were her own. From the first day of coaching, you can tell that she gives her responses A LOT of thought! This has meant a lot to me. I know that every penny I spend is worth it because she not only steers me in the right direction, but she is helping propel me and my blog closer to success. Lauren genuinely cares about you and your blog and I highly recommend investing in her coaching program. It’s totally worth it!” – Anne Clarisse Viduya
“Lauren’s coaching program is one of a kind and invaluable for those of you wanting to take your website to the next level. Not only does she spend the time to work one-on-one with you, but she gets to know everything about your site from your niche, tone, layout, everything. In addition, she utilizes all of the tools at her disposal to help you work on your site as if she was looking at her own. I highly recommend working with Lauren because she’s awesome!” — Adam Smith
“Lauren is the most amazingly helpful, articulate, and thorough coach that I could ask for. I came to her with some very old technology knowledge from the 90’s and she totally got me aligned with modern methods and best practices. She thoroughly reviewed my convoluted maze of a website and zeroed me in on a niche market with targeted content. I’m thrilled to work with her and look forward to a long, prosperous relationship.” –– Susan Vineyard
