The Beautiful Sunsets of Zadar

logo

Alfred Hitchcock once claimed that the sunsets in Zadar are the most beautiful in the world.

After spending a few days there I have to say I completely agree with him, as all the sunsets I’ve been able to witness have been nothing short of amazing.

Zadar sunsets are a brilliant red/pink colour

Possibly one of my favourite photos I've taken on this trip so far.

Due to all the islands along the Croatian coast, Zadar is one of the few places on the mainland where the Sun sets on the water.

I loved sitting and watching the reflections of the Sun on the surface of the water.

The sunset in black and white with a touch of red.

I love the beautiful variations of colours in the sky after the sun sets.

Zadar has definitely had the best sunsets of my trip so far.

Where’s your favourite place to watch the sun set?

  1. Loving the photos! Sunsets are one of my obsessions. Shame I don’t remember so nice sunsets from Zadar when I visited in 1996 :)

That pink – red sea just cries: “Daddy’s flown across the ocean…” That’s wonderful, Lauren. I wonder though have you visited islands like Hvar or Brač and checked their even more beautiful sunsets. Btw, I’m impressed with your knowledge about places you visit and some details that even I wasn’t aware of. You’ve done your homework, girl!
